Clown Fish

Clown Fish

Clownfish are one of the ocean’s most recognizable and beloved fish, easily spotted by their bright orange bodies with bold white stripes. These small reef dwellers form a unique partnership with sea anemones, where they find protection among the anemone’s stinging tentacles while helping to keep their host clean and healthy. Although clownfish are only a few inches long, they are bold and territorial, often standing their ground against much larger fish. Fascinatingly, all clownfish are born male, and some can transform into females to take on the role of leader in their group.
